November 2-6, 2009 Update & Homework Assignments

What have grade 3 students done this week?
Math – Money and Change
Science – Food Chains
Social Studies – Comparing and Contrasting Different Cultures
Language Arts – Recounting and Syllables
Dates to Remember:
Parent conferences this Wednesday November 4th, 2009

A Note about Homework:
Attached you will find the grade 3 guidelines for homework. Ms. P and Ms. D. have recently split their classes into two different math groups. With this change, we hope to better differentiate in math. Starting this week, after each math lesson, your child will be given their math homework for that night. We request that this homework be done on that night and returned the following day. This will also help us to understand how your child is progressing in math on a daily basis, so any issues can be addressed right away. All other homework may be turned in on Friday or before (as usual). As always, thank you for your support.
