November 9-12, 2009 Update & Homework Assignments

What have grade 3 students done this week?
Math – Telling Time
Science – Food Chains Continued and Mold & Bread/Cheese Experiment
Social Studies – Israel’s People and Culture
Language Arts – Recounting and Homophones
A Note to Parents:
Thank you for everyone for attending the Student-Led Conferences. The students were new at this and they all did amazing well. As always, thanks for your support.
*** We will be moving into multiplication very soon. Students will need to practice their multiplication facts at home on a regular basis until they are quick and confident. There are many great math websites available, which we strongly encourage your child to explore. One such site is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/numbers/wholenumbers/multiplication/timestables/
This website has also been pasted in your communication book. Many thanks!
